ESOL VOLUNTEERS
Come be a conversational volunteer with our English Speakers of Other Languages on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM -11:30 AM at 3663 Westcenter.

SEWING CLASS VOLUNTEERS
Our International Friends Sewing Class will begin September 21st at the West Campus on Thursdays from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM in the 3663 building. We are looking for volunteers who would love to get to know our refugee friends and assist in various sewing projects.

LIFELINE SUNDAY SCHOOL
Come join our Lifeline Sunday School class this summer from
9:30 AM -10:50 AM at the Downtown campus.
Volunteers are needed to lead and support.
Volunteer Teacher:
Lifeline is looking for 4-5 people who would be willing to teach the Lifeline Sunday school class on Sunday. The leaders would only be responsible for 1-2 Sundays a month.
Volunteer Help:
Lifeline is looking for volunteers to attend the class, help organize, welcome class members, and aid in the clean-up of the space at the end of the class.

LIFELINE FOR THE HOMELESS DONATIONS
Lifeline has opened in our newly remodeled space and we are ready to accept donated items. We accept the following items:

individually sized hygiene items

new socks

new underwear
-
reading glasses

backpacks/sturdy bags
-
belts
-
T-shirts
-
unstained/unripped casual clothing items
Items may be placed in the donation bins on Sunday mornings or brought to the welcome desk Monday – Thursday.

WHAM VOLUNTEER FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Looking for a place to connect and serve the community?
West Houston Assistance Ministry is in desperate need of volunteers who are willing to work 1, 2, or 3 days a week at their Homeless Walk-Up Food Distribution tent.
The distribution takes place on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
8AM - 11AM

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS REFUGEE
On the ground in Houston, refugees fleeing Afghanistan are being relocated to our city.
Jesus calls us to welcome the stranger and care for those in need. Our Afghan brothers and sisters are arriving with no material possessions.
Help them rebuild their lives by putting together a Welcome Kit that will provide them with essentials and/or furnish and apartment.

COMPUTER LITERACY VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers to teach our computer literacy class. The topics to be covered include: keyboarding, computer basics, email and zoom protocol.
