FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. The King will reply, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:35,36 & 40
Your giving is continuing to provide food for people in desperate need. One of those areas is Pakistan, where our Pakistani pastoral team continues to provide food for the most vulnerable families. Most of the recipients have been Christians, as the government is less likely to care for non-Muslims. They have also provided food for needy families who practice Islam, and it is opening doors for dialogue about Jesus.
A message from our friend and Pastor in Pakistan:
"Hello, Dear First Methodist!
Greetings in the name of Christ. We all are doing good by the grace of Lord. And hope that you all are fine. We all are really very worried because many people are dying, but we are very thankful to you as a partner. We both are working good and hard by the grace of Lord. We helped 53 families with food. Some of them were hesitant and shy to get their picture taken. We helped the people who were living in rural areas, because Muslims were reluctant to give food to our Christian families.
God bless you."
