Provide aid to persecuted Christians at Christmas through Open Doors Ministry.

A meaningful way to serve with your family, friends, class or small group and share the gift of Christmas.

MAGI TREES

Provide a gift for a child from Neighbors in Action (NIA) and our Refugee Ministry by selecting a name from a tree in the lobbies, purchasing and wrapping a gift, and returning it to the church on December 2nd and 9th. 

ADOPT A FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS

Bring hope to refugee families who have relocated to Houston within the past 2 to 18 months. A great opportunity to express the love of Christ through friendship and sharing about the birth of Jesus and the gift-giving traditions. | Contact Paula Niz

LIFELINE TO THE HOMELESS GIFT CARDS

Donate gift cards in the lobbies to McDonald's ($5-$10), Subway ($10) and Walmart ($25) to use as raffle prizes for the Christmas Luncheons and throughout the year.

NIA CHRISTMAS PARTY 

Bring joy to children involved in our Neighbors in Action ministry by serving with games, crafts, food, gifts and prizes on December 19th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Downtown Fellowship Hall. Volunteers needed between 3:00-9:00 p.m.

LIFELINE LUNCHEONS 

Share an elegant luncheon for our Lifeline friends who may feel forgotten in the Christmas season on December 17th and 18th from 11:30-1:30 PM in the Downtown Fellowship Hall. Catered holiday lunch provided: $10. 

Volunteers needed each day to help serve food and to bring joy through fellowship

to our Lifeline friends between 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. 

REFUGEE “IT’S JESUS’ BIRTHDAY” PARTY 

Celebrate Jesus’ Birthday with a party! Join our refugee families on December 16th from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at 3663 Westcenter Dr. as we enjoy lunch, cake, a bouncy house, crafts, fellowship and distribution of gifts for each child. 

Catered Mediterranean lunch provided: $10 adults and $5 for children.

Volunteers needed between 12 noon-3:30PM. to fellowship with families.

MISSION TRIP TO EAGLE PASS 

Join our mission team as we serve families along the border through light construction projects, community outreaches and an “It’s Jesus’ Birthday Party”. December 21-23.
