While there may be a variety of reasons that people resort to life on the streets of Houston, I think we can agree that living homeless comes out of pain and hardship. Let us never see people as a label of their circumstances, because Jesus said that when we care for our brother or sister in need, it is as if we are caring for Him.  

We have worked with the Beacon as they have continued serving food and caring for the needs of men and women living on the streets. On June 1st, Lifeline reopened to serve lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays and doubled our lunch distribution, with help from the Houston Food Bank. In addition, we collected new socks, t-shirts and underwear for men and women (sizes L – 2XL).
